Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Party Organization Committee of the Central Agencies, announced Decision 1229 dated July 26, 2023 appointing members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications for the 2020-2025 term.

Accordingly, Mr. Pham Duc Long, member of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, was appointed to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Speaking at the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Nguyen Van The congratulated the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications on having a new Secretary from today and especially congratulated Mr. Pham Duc Long on being highly trusted by the Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc, appointed to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van The, the field of Information and Communications is extremely important in terms of professional work as well as Party work. It is not by chance that the Politburo assigned the Minister of Information and Communications to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department. Because the management field of the Ministry of Information and Communications is closely linked to the press, public opinion, and the application of scientific and technological achievements, especially the issue of digital transformation, building a digital government, digital economy, and digital society.
