On July 29, at the Palace Hotel, Vung Tau City, a press conference and draw for the 2024 BRT Television Cup youth football tournament took place, organized by the Radio and Television Station (PT-TH), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

The press conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh, Executive Committee Member of the Vietnam Football Federation, Executive Director of LPBank HAGL Club. Coach Le Huynh Duc and Vietnam national team goalkeeper Dang Van Lam participated in the draw for the tournament schedule.
This is the 5th time the BRT Television Cup Youth Football Tournament has been held. "We expect the matches of the BRT Television Cup season 5 to be attractive in terms of technique, tactics and the spirit of "noble - pure" sports competition, and we also expect that more football dreams will take flight in academies and professional youth football training centers," said Ms. Tran Ngoc Than, Director of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Radio and Television Station.

According to the BRT Television Cup Organizing Committee, the tournament not only creates a football playground for teenagers and children but also helps their football dreams fly high. Over 4 seasons, the BRT Television Cup has helped 30 children enter academies and youth football training centers nationwide.
The draw and match schedule for the 2024 BRT Television Cup took place seriously and publicly, managed by the referee supervisors of the Vietnam Football Federation. Many questions from the press agencies at the press conference clarified the new points of this season.

The BRT Television Youth Football Tournament 2024 will start in early June 2024 in 8 localities in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. 8 U.11 teams and 8 U.13 teams representing the localities will compete for the cup from July 30 to August 4 at Bau Thanh Stadium (Long Dien District). This is also the stadium where Thanh Nien Newspaper organized the 2nd Vietnam Youth Student Football Tournament - 2024 THACO Cup in the Southeast region recently.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, CEO of LPBank HAGL Club, said that from 2023, the BRT Television Cup has been established as a satellite in the selection of potential players of the HAGL Football Academy. "After 3 years of cooperation, we decided that the two sides will cooperate for the next 5 years so that through this tournament, the children will have the opportunity to develop professional football," Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh added.
