The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has decided to revoke 12,389 m2 of land previously granted to Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company due to the termination of the investment project.

The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has decided to revoke 12,389 m2 of land from Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company in Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district (Illustrative image).

Specifically, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province Nguyen Minh signed Decision No. 098/QD-UBND to revoke an area of ​​12,389 m2 of land from Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, belonging to land parcels No. 12, 17, 51, 55, 59 under sheet No. 286 (221 485 – 1) in Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district.

The reason is that Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company's investment project was terminated by the Department of Planning and Investment in Notice No. 3167/TB-SKHĐT dated July 16, 2024. This falls under the case of land reclamation as stipulated in point d, clause 1, Article 82 of the 2024 Land Law.

The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province also assigned tasks to relevant agencies and organizations to carry out land reclamation, and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Thang commune is responsible for delivering this Decision to Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company.

At the same time, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province also assigned the aforementioned 12,389 m2 of reclaimed land to the Land Fund Development Center of Bac Binh district for management according to regulations.

The People's Committee of Binh Thuan province has requested Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company to hand over the land and land use right certificate to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment for recovery in accordance with regulations and to fulfill its financial obligations regarding outstanding tax debts.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment announces the revocation of the Land Use Right Certificate of Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company and the termination of the land lease agreement as per regulations.

The Provincial Tax Department is urging Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company to fulfill its financial obligations regarding the remaining tax debt.
