Born in many regions of the country but choosing Hanoi as the place to live and work, photographers and journalists of the Photography - Journalism Association have expressed their love for the capital through the photo exhibition "Hanoi in me".
The works demonstrate careful composition, choosing typical moments when capturing Uncle Ho, Party and State leaders interacting with the people of the Capital. Following the flow of history, the authors have recorded events of Hanoi in the process of building and defending the Fatherland, from the subsidy period to renovation to international integration, aiming to build a rich, civilized, modern Capital, worthy of being a large, representative political, economic and cultural center of the whole country. The photo series is a selection of press photos with authenticity and the breath of life.

The photo exhibition “Hanoi in me” brings together 70 color and black and white photos taken by 18 artists and journalists since the 60s of the last century. Many of the photos have never been published, including works by many artists and journalists known to the public such as: Trinh Hai, Hoang Kim Dang, Tran Hong, Hoang Nhu Thinh, Khac Huong, Pham Cong Thang, Tran Hai, Dang Khoa... The person with the most photos exhibited (15 photos) is photographer and journalist Trinh Hai - Founding member of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, who turned 92 this year.
“Hanoi in me” is the heart of artists - journalists living in Hanoi taking photos of Hanoi throughout its 70-year history. The photo series is a tribute to express love for Hanoi on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the capital takeover.
The exhibition takes place from September 28, 2024 to October 29, 2024 at Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
