On January 8, the Traffic and Order Police Team (Thanh Mien District Police) said that the unit had just fined Mr. L.D.H. (born in 1990) in Dai Hop Commune (Tu Ky) 24 million VND for speeding and not obeying the orders of the police.

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on January 5, Thanh Mien District traffic police discovered Mr. L.D.H. driving car 34H-020.XX violating the speed limit on provincial road 392B in Thanh Giang commune. At this time, the police signaled the car to stop for inspection, but Mr. H. did not comply and continued to drive the car "through the checkpoint" and flee.

The Traffic Police and Order Team of Thanh Mien district fined Mr. H. 19 million VND for not obeying the traffic control officer's orders and 5 million VND for speeding from 10 to 20 km/h.

In 2024, the Thanh Mien District Traffic and Order Police Team fined 1,144 cases of speeding violations with a total amount of over 2 billion VND.
