According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the cold air weakened and shifted east quickly during the night of February 4 and the morning of February 5, causing light rain and drizzle to still occur over a wide area.
In the next 3 days (February 5-7), Hanoi's weather will maintain weak cold air, causing the humid weather with drizzle and fog in the early morning to continue; humidity will remain high but at a lighter level than last week.
Temperatures today will drop slightly by 2-3 degrees during the day compared to yesterday, to 24-25 degrees; at night they will also drop, to 19-22 degrees, then drop another 1-2 degrees on the night of February 7.
Meteorological experts predict that the drizzle and humidity in the North will likely last until February 7. From February 8 (December 29), cold air will be strengthened, causing the temperature in the whole region to drop rapidly.
Hanoi weather is cloudy, light rain on the night of February 7; strong northeast wind level 2-3; cold weather, some places will be very cold on February 8 and 9 (ie 30th of Tet).
