“Individual customers like me who borrow to buy a house are now being charged an interest rate of about 7-10%, and after the preferential period, they will have to add at least 3.5%, which is up to 13.5%. So the fixed rate of only up to 9.5% is a great opportunity,” said Mr. Tran Chi Minh, a customer working in the technology industry, living in Hanoi.

In particular, according to him, a long period of ten years means that floating interest rates can increase, far exceeding the 13.5% mark as the market has been in recent years.
