Quang Nam children sent more than 25 thousand entries to the postage stamp contest

The contest is organized by the Central Council of Young Pioneers in collaboration with Vietnam Post Corporation and Vietnam Stamp Association, for children nationwide aged 8 to 15 (from grades 3 to 9).

With the theme “50 years of Southern liberation and national reunification through postage stamps”, the contest aims to enhance children’s understanding of the nation’s heroic history; arouse patriotism, solidarity, national pride and the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, and determined to build and defend the Fatherland in the new era.

Quang Nam children submitted more than 25,000 entries to the provincial contest. High-quality entries were sent to the Central Organizing Committee for evaluation and award consideration.

The Organizing Committee will award 37 individual prizes (1 Special Prize, 2 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes, 20 Encouragement Prizes) and 15 collective prizes (5 A prizes, 10 B prizes) for collectives with a large number of entries and many entries winning individual prizes.

At the 2024 Stamp Collection and Learning Contest with the theme "70 years of the historic Dien Bien Phu victory through postage stamps", Quang Nam had Dang Le Gia Nhi - a student of Kim Dong Secondary School (Nui Thanh district) win the Special Prize.
