Recently, the People's Committee of District 11 officially launched Ha Ton Quyen Food Street, which has received great attention from Ho Chi Minh City residents, especially food lovers. Not everyone knows that besides the famous dumplings, this street has many other dishes that you can try.
The unique beef noodle shop in the middle of the dumpling "paradise"
Every afternoon, after the unseasonal rain in Ho Chi Minh City, the streets become cooler and more pleasant. After 5 pm, Ha Ton Quyen Food Street is lit up, bustling with people. The shops here also begin to bustle with customers.

In the midst of the dumpling paradise with dozens of shops next to each other, many of which have been around for decades, there is a new beef noodle shop that has "sprouted up" for more than 7 months now, also on Ha Ton Quyen Street. That is the beef noodle shop of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hanh (50 years old).
Ms. Hanh said she has been selling this dish for over 20 years, also in District 11. She recently started selling here, right when Ha Ton Quyen Street officially became a culinary city.
The owner is proud that she sells dishes that are "unique" to the surrounding shops. In the first months, there weren't too many customers, but recently the situation has shown signs of improvement, especially since this food street was established.
“My restaurant is crowded in the early morning. It opens from 6:30 a.m. until late at night. Here, each portion ranges from 50,000 to 65,000 VND, especially the beef noodle soup with pork belly,” the owner introduced.
The beef noodle soup at the restaurant has a rich flavor.
According to Ms. Hanh, the reason why customers love beef noodle soup here, besides the unique flavor from her journey of "teaching the profession" for decades, is also thanks to the fresh, "hot" ingredients that she uses every day. Currently, the owner said that the number of customers here is stable, hoping that it will grow more and more as she does business with dedication.
Knowing about the restaurant through social media, Tran Nhut Hao (22 years old) and his friends came here to eat. He said that he usually comes to Ha Ton Quyen street just to eat dumplings, because it is a famous dish in this area.
However, for many months now, he has been coming here because of the beef noodle shop. The customer said he often orders the special bowl for 65,000 VND. "Each piece of meat is so big. Plus a big bone, it's just my taste. I'm a beef noodle shopaholic, so I often come to this shop," he said, smiling.
Opposite this beef noodle shop, Ms. Linh (50 years old) also sells 7 different dishes 7 days a week, famous on social networks. Accordingly, the shop's weekly menu is as follows: Monday sells yellow noodles; Tuesday sells crab noodles, vermicelli soup; Wednesday sells fish sauce noodles; Thursday sells crab noodles; Friday sells beef noodles with pig's feet; Saturday sells stewed duck noodles; Sunday sells duck curry.
Mrs. Linh sells a different dish every day.
The owner said the restaurant has been in the area for over 30 years. However, she only sells from noon to afternoon, not in the evening. The prices of dishes at Ms. Linh's restaurant range from 35,000 to 70,000 VND depending on the type.
Tea, coffee, soursop tea, snacks...
Interspersed with famous dumpling shops in Ha Ton Quyen Food Street, there are also noodle shops, mixed rice paper, hotdog shops, sweet soup shops, coffee shops, and various drinks for customers to choose from.
Ms. Thu Nguyen (37 years old), owner of a snack shop here, said that she has only opened for 4 months. Before that, she sold on Minh Phung Street, also in District 11. She introduced that there are long-standing dumpling shops around here, and she sells drinks such as soursop tea, mixed rice paper... diverse, both unique and meeting the needs of customers.

In addition to dumplings, there are also a variety of dishes and drinks on Ha Ton Quyen Food Street.
“I have a relative selling dumplings next door. I have lived here for a long time and am used to it, so selling these dishes is fine, and customers still support me regularly. Normally, I sell from 11am to evening. Every now and then, I stop by Ha Ton Quyen to eat more than just dumplings, there are many other unique dishes," she said.
Coming out of a famous tea shop on Ha Ton Quyen Street, Mr. Nhan (26 years old, living in District 5) said that this is his regular shop. Because his house is nearby, he often stops by to support.
He said that he has lived in Cho Lon since he was a child, so he is a "connoisseur" of all the food courts. At Ha Ton Quyen Food Street, he not only likes to eat dumplings, but is also a "regular" customer of this restaurant.
“Talking about dumplings, this place is the best, nothing more to say. But if you think this area only has dumplings, you are wrong. During the day, they sell many dishes, including broken rice and sweet dishes,” the customer added.
