25-year-old Mr World Vietnam contestant is orphaned, loves vegetarianism and meditation

Possessing a handsome appearance and impressive education, Huynh Tien Dat is currently one of the potential candidates at Mr World Vietnam 2024.

Huynh Tien Dat was born in 1999, from Thua Thien Hue. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Hue College of Tourism. "My experiences in the tourism industry have allowed me to visit many places, explore traditional cultures, historical sites and cuisines of many regions. The industry also helps me to be more confident in communicating to introduce and convey knowledge to tourists."

As a student, Tien Dat had digestive problems, went to hospitals and tried many methods but could not recover. By chance, he learned about vegetarianism and practiced it since 2018. After nearly 6 years, he realized the value of vegetarianism is protecting animals, the environment and loving yourself.

According to Tien Dat, high education is an advantage when evaluating a person's ability. "The winner of Mr. World Vietnam 2024 must possess masculine beauty, talent, courage and kindness. Although high education is not the most important criterion, people with a good knowledge base will know what they need to do to be suitable for the competition and reach the highest position," Tien Dat confided.

Sharing with VietNamNet about his future plans, Tien Dat confided: “In the next 5 years, I want to become an all-round model, possessing all the elements of morality - intelligence - physique - beauty. I hope to establish a child model training center to nurture young talents. I will donate part of the class tuition to help those in difficult circumstances.”

Regarding love, Tien Dat believes that age is not as important as harmony in soul and personality... In the future, he hopes that his companion will understand, sympathize and together overcome difficulties in life.

When Tien Dat was 3 years old, his biological mother unfortunately passed away in a traffic accident. Tien Dat said: “At that time, I was too young to live without my mother's love and care. Looking at my friends of the same age being taken care of by their mothers, I felt extremely sad. That memory still makes me sad, but I always tell myself to be strong, overcome all difficulties, persevere in studying and training myself to not disappoint my parents' expectations.”

Having lost his mother, Tien Dat lives in the love and protection of his father and older brother. Three years ago, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Tien Dat's father passed away from leukemia. "Unlike the shock I felt before, I was calmer. During the last days of my father's life, I spent a lot of time taking care of him and talking to him. I always cherished that time," Tien Dat confided.

Currently, Tien Dat lives with his brother in Hue . With their parents gone, the two brothers are independent, loving, caring and encouraging each other. “My family is the biggest source of encouragement for me to be confident in my journey to Mr World Vietnam 2024. I believe that somewhere, my parents are always watching and cheering me on,” Tien Dat shared.

“The values ​​my parents left me are boundless love. I learned from my father’s strong will and hard work in the situation of a single father. Despite the difficulties, my father always loved and taught me to be a good person. Besides, I realized that life is impermanent, so we need to live fully in every moment and stay calm in all adversities of life,” Tien Dat confided.

After the incidents, Tien Dat practiced and maintained the habit of being vegetarian, meditating, participating in charity activities... In his free time, Tien Dat swims, jogs, plays badminton and goes to the gym. In addition, he often climbs mountains to improve his endurance.

Tien Dat participated in flood relief in Central Vietnam and gave gifts to patients affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, he also participated in charity projects such as: Van Xuan Pagoda, Lieu Quan, Tu Tam...

Currently, Tien Dat wants to focus on his career. Besides, he is also overcoming his self-consciousness and improving himself to compete at Mr World Vietnam 2024.
