
From tomorrow (May 2), 12th graders will begin registering for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam online.
Independent candidates register for the exam directly at the units specified by the Departmentof Education and Training. The registration deadline is 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2024.
The Ministry of Education and Training notes that before filling out the exam registration form, candidates must carefully read the sections and instructions for filling out the form. If there are any unclear points, candidates must ask the exam registration officer for full instructions.
Candidates currently in grade 12 fill in their online exam registration information using the account provided on the exam management software system. After completing the review and confirmation within the prescribed exam registration deadline, the High School where the candidate is studying will print the Exam Registration Form, Form No. 1, Form No. 2 and sign and stamp a seal with a border on the photo of the Exam Registration Form to confirm the candidate's identity.
Candidates need to pay attention to some items in the Exam Registration Form, such as item 5 (permanent residence). The province/city code; district/county code and commune/ward code for communes and wards in region 1 will be regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates need to look up at the place of registration to correctly enter the province/city code; district/county code; commune/ward code where the candidate currently resides in the corresponding boxes. Candidates who do not have a permanent residence in a commune in region 1 should leave the commune code box blank. After filling in all the administrative unit codes in the boxes, candidates should clearly write the name of the commune/ward; district/county; province/city in the blank line. For candidates who are prioritized for subjects or regions related to their permanent residence, it is required to confirm that they have had a permanent residence of over 18 months in region 1 or over 18 months in a particularly disadvantaged commune or commune with a particularly disadvantaged village during their time studying in high school by checking the corresponding box.
For candidates who are police officers or soldiers sent to take the exam for admission to universities and colleges of education, the code, province and city corresponding to the place of military service and the code of the high school is 900. For candidates who have studied abroad, the years of study abroad must be recorded with the code of the province and city corresponding to the province and city according to the place of permanent residence in Vietnam and the code of the high school is 800.
For candidates who wish to be exempted from the Foreign Language exam, they must clearly state the type of certificate that qualifies for exemption or clearly state that they are a member of the national team participating in the International Olympic in Foreign Languages according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. For the type of certificate that includes the exam score (total exam score), candidates must write the score in the "Exam Score" box.
After successfully registering, from May 11-17, all candidates must use the provided account and password to log into the exam management system via the address: http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn to check exam registration information, respond to errors and propose approval of priority evidence (if any) with the exam registration unit.
The 2024 High School Graduation Exam will take place from June 26-29. The exam results are expected to be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 17. Localities will then conduct graduation exams for students taking the exam and use the graduation exam results to consider university and college admissions according to the enrollment plan.
