In order to help customers reduce financial pressure and focus on overcoming damage after storm Yagi, Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) reduces up to 50% of current interest for existing individual customers affected by storms and floods.
According to TPBank's program to support individual customers affected by storms and floods after Typhoon Yagi, in addition to reducing the current interest rate by up to 50%, the bank will keep this reduced interest rate fixed until January 31, 2025 at the latest. The program applies from now until the end of October, with a limit of up to VND 2,000 billion. The scope of TPBank's interest rate support program covers all northern provinces affected by floods caused by Typhoon Yagi such as: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hanoi, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai... Previously, TPBank adjusted the interest rate for loans to buy real estate, project houses; repair houses; and repay other bank loans to only 0%/year fixed for the first 3 months, 8.2% fixed for the next 9 months, with a 3-month fixed interest rate loan package. In addition, the bank is always ready with loan packages with long-term fixed preferential interest rates such as: 6.8%/year fixed for the first 12 months; 7.3%/year fixed for the first 18 months; 7.8%/year fixed for the first 24 months; 8.8%/year fixed for the first 36 months. This interest rate is applied until the end of February of the following year.
