Rules of the 8th Contest on the topic "Joining hands to build new countryside" on Ha Tinh Newspaper

Implementing Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee (10th tenure) on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas; Resolution No. 04-NQ/TU on focusing on leadership and direction in implementing the Project "Piloting the construction of Ha Tinh province to meet new rural standards, phase 2022 - 2025", Ha Tinh Newspaper launched the 8th Contest on the theme "Joining hands to build new rural areas" in 2023.

PURPOSE, MEANING

- Strengthen information and propaganda on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the province's policies and laws on the new rural construction movement, implementing the goal of building Ha Tinh province to meet new rural standards in the period of 2021 - 2025.

- Encourage and promote the movement, create strong motivation among all classes of people, mobilize the whole society to participate in building new rural areas effectively and sustainably.

- Encourage journalists, collaborators, officials and people to produce press works on the topic of new rural areas; promote professional press activities, contributing to the cause of building new rural areas;

- Through the contest, step by step improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work on the new rural construction program associated with the implementation of the socio-economic development goals and tasks of the province.

CONTEST WORKS

Content:

- Propaganda, affirm the role, importance and achievements in the province's new rural construction; results and difficulties in implementing the goal of building Ha Tinh province to meet new rural standards.

- Discover and commend new factors, advanced units, localities, collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "The whole province joins hands to build new rural areas";

- Criticize and criticize localities, collectives and individuals who have not implemented well or have incorrectly implemented the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's and the province's policies and laws in the process of building new rural areas;

- Analyze and propose practical solutions and experiences that have practical effects on the construction of new rural areas.

Category:

Genres include: Reportage, investigation, notes, portraits, reflections, examples of "good people - good deeds"; photo reports, photo series, videos, multimedia press products (Emagazine, Story, Longform...) on the topic of new rural construction.

Request:

- Contest entries must reflect real people, real events, not fictional; take place in Ha Tinh; be published in Ha Tinh Newspaper (printed newspaper, electronic newspaper or published in both publications).

- Each article must not exceed 3,000 words; for serial works, no more than 5 installments/work. Photo reports and photo series must have at least 9 - 15 photos/work.

- For video products: Duration from 3 minutes - 7 minutes

- There is no limit to the number of entries per author;

- The entries have never participated in any writing contests about new rural areas in the province; have not been published in other newspapers or magazines before being published in Ha Tinh Newspaper.

CONTESTANTS

Professional and non-professional journalists, reporters, collaborators, and informants inside and outside the province.

DEADLINE AND METHOD OF SUBMITTING WORKS

- Contest deadline: Works participating in the contest must be published in Ha Tinh Newspaper (print and electronic newspapers) from January 1, 2023 to December 15, 2023. For serial works, the deadline is calculated from the time of publication of the first installment.

- How to submit work:

+ Written press group: The work must be clearly presented on one side of A4 paper; for soft copies, a word file (.docx, .doc format) must be sent in a similar format; under the work, clearly state the pen name, full name, address, and phone number of the author/author group for contact by the Organizing Committee.

+ Group of photos, videos, multimedia products: JPG format photos, minimum size 3000 Pixels wide, minimum capacity 1Mb; MP4 format videos; HD size, Full HD.

PRIZE

* The group of reporters wrote:

- 1 A prize worth 10 million VND.

- 3 second prizes, each worth 5 million VND.

- 5 third prizes, each worth 3 million VND.

- 7 consolation prizes, each worth 2 million VND.

* Group of photos, videos, multimedia products

- 1 A prize worth 10 million VND.

- 2 second prizes, each worth 5 million VND.

- 4 third prizes, each worth 3 million VND.

- 6 consolation prizes, each worth 2 million VND.

The award ceremony is expected to be held in the first quarter of 2024.
