The price of SJC gold was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at 84-85.5 million VND/tael, unchanged in both buying and selling compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling was 1.5 million VND.
DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold today at 84 million VND/tael and sold at 85.5 million VND/tael, unchanged from the previous session. The difference between the buying price and the selling price is 1.5 million VND.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 84.8-85.5 million VND/tael for buying and selling. Compared to yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars increased by 400,000 VND for buying and 500,000 VND for selling.
PNJ Gold bought at 84.4 million VND/tael and sold at 85.5 million VND/tael, unchanged in both buying and selling compared to the previous session.
SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is currently trading at 83.5-85.5 million VND/tael for buying and selling, an increase of 800,000 VND/tael for buying and 500,000 VND/tael for selling compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.
The group of state-owned joint stock commercial banks (Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank, BIDV) listed the price of SJC gold bars at 85.5 million VND/tael.

Regarding ring gold, the price of SJC 9999 ring gold is 84 million VND/tael for buying and 85.3 million VND/tael for selling, unchanged in both directions (buying-selling) compared to the previous session.
DOJI Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 gold ring price remained unchanged in both directions compared to yesterday's closing price, buying and selling transactions were 84.55-85.5 million VND/tael, respectively.
At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the listed price of gold rings is at 84.6-85.7 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to early this morning.

The world gold price fell sharply by 17.8 USD compared to the previous session to 2,639.4 USD/ounce. The strength of the greenback put pressure on gold in the final trading session of the first week of 2025, pushing the price of this precious metal away from the 3-week high reached in the previous session.
David Morrison, senior market analyst at Trade Nation, said bullish momentum is starting to build in gold and silver, and he continues to monitor the impact of the US dollar on price movements next week.
“ It will be interesting to see if gold and silver can rally from here, even with the dollar at two-year highs,” he said.
Trading Economics also said that the current gold price increase is driven by the US's loose monetary policy. Record gold purchases from central banks and prolonged geopolitical tensions are also factors that are pushing gold prices up.
