On August 29, the Vietnam - Singapore Youth Leadership Dialogue 2023 took place in Hanoi, organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth in coordination with the National Youth Council of Singapore. The program aims to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of strategic partnership between the two countries.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Bui Quang Huy said that Vietnamese and Singaporean youth are both important factors for socio-economic development, and are the future owners of each country. Therefore, how the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore will develop in the future depends largely on the feelings and relationships between the youth of the two countries today. "The mission of youth in developing the strategic partnership between the two countries is very important. Youth of the two countries increasingly need to understand each other better about culture, traditions, people, and development achievements of the country in order to share, support, and assist each other to develop together. Youth organizations need to create all conditions and opportunities to enhance youth exchanges and cooperation, contributing to the common development of Vietnam and Singapore as well as the region," said Mr. Huy.
