Singer Thanh Ngoc.
When asked why Thanh Ngoc no longer participates in films, the female singer said that she wants to play a role that is different from the characters she has played, even though she has only acted in 4-5 films. Because she always receives invitations to take on similar roles, Thanh Ngoc is not very interested in such invitations.
“I have a bit of a fierce personality so I want to play a really evil role. But I think everyone sees me as kind so no one invites me to play an evil role,” the female singer joked.
Besides, the female singer said that she is an introvert and more family-oriented, so in the first 2 years of marriage, she just wanted to have fun with her husband. "At that time, I was also newly married, so maybe I was too infatuated with love and neglected everything else in this life," Thanh Ngoc shared with a laugh.
After 2 years of enjoying their newlywed life, Thanh Ngoc and her husband planned to have a child but it was not until 8 years later that they had their first son. During those 8 years, the female singer did not have any aspirations for a musical career.
Thanh Ngoc returns to the stage after 10 years of focusing on her family.
When she had children, Thanh Ngoc devoted all her heart to taking care of them. “I am quite a perfectionist, I don’t want others to take care of my children, so I take care of them myself, so I don’t have time to sing,” Thanh Ngoc said.
After her child was one year old, she started singing again, but after only a few performances, the pandemic hit and her work was "frozen". When the pandemic ended, her child was three years old, so Thanh Ngoc felt more secure to start returning to art.
