Thanh Ha plans to increase more than 1,273 hectares of non-agricultural land

Comrade Pham Van Hung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Ha district chaired the meeting.

On July 16, the People's Council of Thanh Ha district, term XX, 2021-2026, held the 18th session to pass a resolution on adjusting land use planning until 2030. Accordingly, the district's agricultural land decreased from more than 8,216 hectares to more than 6,943 hectares, and non-agricultural land increased from more than 5,855 hectares to 7,128 hectares.

The district will adjust more than 1,273 hectares of agricultural land to non-agricultural land, of which priority is given to 521 hectares for developing transport infrastructure, building cultural facilities, education and training, dumping grounds, waste treatment, etc.

Also at the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and resolving difficulties to complete the socio-economic development targets set for 2024. Including the plan to establish and approve the master plan for communes after the merger. Resolutely handle the existing problems in site clearance for provincial and district projects to facilitate the construction of traffic works, residential areas, etc.
