On the afternoon of September 27, Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee Tang Ba Bay had a dialogue with 125 cadres, women's union members, farmers, and youth union members in the district.
At the dialogue conference, there were 18 opinions related to a number of fields such as: culture, society (5 opinions), environmental resources (4 opinions), rural agriculture (4 opinions), transportation - construction (3 opinions)...
Notably in the agricultural sector, many farmer members requested the District People's Committee to have a mechanism to support people in registering OCOP products.
Regarding this issue, Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee Tang Ba Bay said that the district has focused on propagating to people and subjects to grasp the content related to the project "One Commune One Product", organizing training to improve professional skills, knowledge and expertise for households and subjects. In 2024, Thanh Ha district rewarded each subject whose product was recognized as 3-star OCOP for the first time with 8 million VND. Support funding for granting food safety certificates, digitizing products, and building a traceability system according to the value chain for products. Trade promotion activities, building display points, and introducing OCOP products in the district are regularly carried out by subjects and localities.
As of September 2024, Thanh Ha district has 18 OCOP products, of which 8 products have 4 stars and 10 products have 3 stars.
At the dialogue, many cadres and youth union members reflected that currently, the situation of young people violating traffic safety regulations is very common and requested the District People's Committee to have solutions to limit violations.
Thanh Ha District Police informed that, in the face of traffic safety violations among students and teenagers, Thanh Ha District Police wrote an open letter calling on all agencies, units, schools and people in Thanh Ha District to strictly comply with regulations on traffic safety. When detecting violations, people can use cameras, cameras, personal phones, dash cams... to record information and images and provide information directly to the Traffic Police - Order Team of Thanh Ha District Police for handling. Thanh Ha District Police has built a model "Traffic Handbook - A companion for Thanh Ha students" to create vivid video clips and images to propagate traffic safety and order to schools.
In addition, some women's union members requested the District People's Committee to support the purchase of health insurance cards for orphans from poor households to reduce the burden on them; paying electricity bills far from residential areas...
Receiving many opinions from cadres, members, and youth union members, the Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee has directed specialized departments to urgently check the issues mentioned and need to be handled soon such as: paying electricity bills far from residential areas, supporting the purchase of health insurance cards for orphans... The issues under the authority of the commune and district levels have been requested by the Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee to be clarified soon. Issues not under the authority of the district will be summarized and reported to higher levels for consideration and resolution.
