Plan to establish 20 volunteer teams

The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union plans to establish 20 youth volunteer teams to support disaster recovery. It will mobilize resources to take care of about 5 billion VND from now until September 29.

Phase 1 will be from September 15 and phase 2 from September 22. There will be a team of doctors, nurses, and health science students to provide medical care to support about 2,500 people and children.

The team repaired and fixed roofs, electricity and water systems for 500 families. In addition, there was a team to coordinate the care and support of people to stabilize their lives and support learning conditions for students.

It is expected to support about 2,500 families through gifts, necessities and money. Along with that, there will be a team participating in cleaning, repairing and rearranging schools to help students return to school soon.
