In recent days, storms and floods have caused severe damage, affecting the livelihoods and production and business activities of thousands of people and businesses in many northern provinces. And currently, the weather situation is still showing signs of complicated developments in many central and Central Highlands provinces.
Accordingly, in order to accompany people and businesses to overcome the consequences and restore production and business, from now until the end of 2024, Sacombank will reduce up to 2%/year of lending interest rates on existing or new outstanding loans. At the same time, the bank will reduce service fees by 50% and waive early repayment fees.
“The bank has promptly deployed information to branches/transaction offices in the North, Central and Central Highlands to proactively review, assess, report the extent of damage and propose measures to support and remove difficulties for customers who are borrowing capital,” said a Sacombank representative.
Previously, in the spirit of mutual love, Sacombank donated many gifts worth 500 million VND to people in Lao Cai and Thai Nguyen provinces. At the same time, it donated 500 million VND through the program to support people to rebuild their lives after storms and floods, implemented by Tuoi Tre newspaper.
In addition, Sacombank's Grassroots Trade Union has mobilized all employees of the Bank to voluntarily participate in supporting and sharing with people in flood-hit areas. The amount received will be transferred by Sacombank's Grassroots Trade Union to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
