In Thang Binh district, especially in the East, major projects of the province are being implemented such as the road connecting from Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway to Vo Chi Cong street; the main road from Binh Duong bridge to Vo Chi Cong street; renovating and upgrading National Highway (QL) 14E...

Completing and putting into use large projects is the driving force for Thang Binh district to develop quickly and sustainably. Previously, the biggest difficulty for the locality in implementing projects was in site clearance.

According to the Center for Land Fund Development, Industry and Services of Thang Binh District, the congestion in site clearance is due to the lack of uniformity in the legal document system, many regulations have not been replaced appropriately, and compensation and support prices are still slow to adjust.

Propaganda and mobilization work among people in some project areas is not deep and broad; people's understanding of the law is limited, leading to comparisons and complaints about land compensation prices.

Some people have not complied with the policies on land acquisition and compensation; they have separated household registration, encroached, and bought and sold land in the project area.

Coordination between the organization in charge of compensation and site clearance with relevant agencies is not yet synchronized. In many cases, due to lack of agreement on the solution, site clearance progress is slow...

To solve the above situation, recently, agencies and localities of Thang Binh district have taken "Skillful mass mobilization" as a central and consistent solution.

The team working on land compensation shows a high sense of responsibility. District agencies pay more attention to leadership and land management. The process of land acquisition and compensation is carried out more professionally.

The obvious achievement in the land acquisition and clearance in Thang Binh district is that the road connecting Vo Chi Cong Street to National Highway 1 at Cay Coc intersection is now open. When excavators and bulldozers arrived at Mrs. Bui Thi Nuoi's land to level the ground, many households were very excited.

Because for more than 7 years, they have had to live in the dusty sun, muddy rain and often witnessed tragic traffic accidents due to the traffic jam on the road connecting Vo Chi Cong Street to National Highway 1.

To ensure smooth operation of this section, the People's Committee of Thang Binh district has regularly and continuously held dialogues and mobilized Mrs. Nuoi's household to agree on land acquisition and clearance to implement the project. After a long wait, Mrs. Nuoi's household agreed to hand over the land for road construction.

Thanks to the good implementation of mass mobilization, up to now, most of the people in Thang Binh district affected by the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E; Tay Giang Bridge; the road connecting Vo Chi Cong Street to Dong Que Son Industrial Park connecting to National Highway 14H and National Highway 1 have agreed to hand over the land.

Donate land for road construction

Mr. Nguyen Van Kiet (Tan An village, Binh Minh commune) is one of the pioneering households donating land to expand DT613 road through the area.

Donating 150 square ^meters of residential land, Mr. Kiet said he donated the land to widen the road, make the village more spacious, and make urban development easier in the future. Examples like Mr. Kiet have created a big impact, and so far, local people have responded to donating land to build roads.

Mr. Le Quoc Cuong - Head of the Mass Mobilization Block of Binh Minh Commune said that the DT613 route was quickly expanded thanks to 90 households voluntarily donating land, structures, and crops worth tens of billions of VND.

Previously, realizing the difficulties in mobilizing people to donate land and construction materials to build roads, the commune's mass mobilization bloc proposed many solutions and considered propaganda and mobilization as the key to success.

The entire political system of the commune focused on building the model of "Smart Mass Mobilization" to mobilize people to donate land for road construction. With the motto of using people's strength to propagate and mobilize people, the model of "Smart Mass Mobilization" of Binh Minh commune has brought about practical results.
