Up to now, the socio -economic infrastructure has been invested in relatively synchronously, basically meeting the needs of people for travel and goods circulation, creating favorable conditions to attract investment. People's lives have improved significantly, average income per capita has increased gradually over the years, the poverty rate is still very low, mainly poor households under social protection. People's spiritual life is increasingly rich. National security and defense are ensured. In the district, there have been many industrial, tourism and service projects that have been invested in, thereby restructuring the economic sectors towards increasing the proportion of service and industrial sectors, creating jobs and increasing local budget revenue.
Entering a new development phase, Thang Binh is a locality with many opportunities and advantages. Thang Binh is the driving force in the socio-economic development of the southeast region of the province with many investment incentives. The eastern region of the district still has room for tourism , service, urban and industrial development. In particular, Thang Binh is one of the first localities in the province to have the District Construction Plan approved with very specific development orientations.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh requested the Party Committee, government and people of Thang Binh district to focus on implementing key tasks. Firstly, promoting the spirit of the Ha Lam - Cho Duoc struggle and the heroic homeland tradition, Thang Binh needs to unite, be unanimous, and be determined to build the district increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern. Strive to build the district to meet the standards of a new rural district in the period of 2026-2027 and upgrade the administrative unit to Thang Binh town by 2030 as approved in the District Construction Plan. The district needs to focus on building a clean and strong district Party Committee and Party organizations and bases to successfully complete assigned tasks. Thang Binh urgently develops a plan to implement the Thang Binh District Regional Plan and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval as a basis for implementation; at the same time, coordinate with the provincial departments and branches to promptly appraise and submit for approval the subdivision planning projects and detailed planning of functional areas; Propose investment in essential infrastructure works according to planning; promote and call for investment in socio-economic development in the district.
Thang Binh is a locality with many commune-level administrative units that must be reorganized according to regulations. Therefore, the administrative units must be reorganized immediately after the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee; the arrangement of staff must be carried out appropriately, ensuring the best completion of assigned tasks and handling of surplus assets in accordance with legal regulations.
Thang Binh district needs to organize forms of education on the glorious traditions of the army and people of Thang Binh through the ages, especially the spirit of the Ha Lam - Cho Duoc struggle for the young generation; at the same time, have specific plans and solutions to submit to the authorities to renovate and repair the national historical relic "The site of the Ha Lam - Cho Duoc Struggle" in accordance with the provisions of the Heritage Law combined with promoting the value of the relic, contributing to the development of the local economy and society.
