These days in May, at the Duc Thanh relic site (Phan Thiet city), the staff, employees, and guides continuously welcome people from inside and outside the province to offer incense, report their achievements, and visit and learn about the life and career of Uncle Ho. The number of visitors to the relic site is very large, the workload is heavy, but all the guides of the relic site are friendly and hospitable, serving wholeheartedly.

On the occasion of the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023) and throughout this May, local people and thousands of tourists from all over the country came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate Uncle Ho at the Duc Thanh Relic Site - Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan Province branch - where Uncle Ho stopped to teach before leaving to find a way to save the country.

The Duc Thanh relic site - Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch is a memorial work, with invaluable spiritual significance of the people of Binh Thuan for beloved Uncle Ho. Located in the center of Phan Thiet city, on the Ca Ty river, Duc Thanh School was recognized as a national historical - cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on December 12, 1986. This is the place that marked the event of Uncle Ho's youth, under the name Nguyen Tat Thanh, who stopped to teach from September 1910 to February 1911. With passion and affection, he imparted cultural knowledge and aroused patriotism in his students before he went to Saigon, going abroad to find a way to save the country. In the crowd of people visiting Uncle Ho, everyone wanted to learn more about his life and career as well as personally light incense on his altar, remembering his great contributions to the country and people of Vietnam.

Ms. Le Thi Hong (a tourist from Hanoi) said that coming to Duc Thanh relic site, she was able to hear the simple stories of Uncle Ho in the past; and seeing Uncle Ho's artifacts, which helped us love and respect him even more. As for Nguyen Bao Ngoc (Phan Thiet city), she shared: "It is really meaningful that we were able to personally burn incense on Uncle Ho's altar on his birthday. Remembering Uncle Ho, we vow to study hard and practice to become good children and good students."

This May, Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch organizes an exhibition of documentary and artistic photos with the theme "The beauty of President Ho Chi Minh's daily life". These are important historical images and documents recording moments of President Ho Chi Minh's life and career. In addition, the exhibition also has an artistic photo space introducing the natural landscape, land and people of Binh Thuan to visitors. According to Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch, the exhibition aims to honor and praise President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions to the Vietnamese people, expressing respect and infinite gratitude to him. Thereby, encouraging cadres, soldiers, and people of all walks of life to actively and effectively promote the implementation of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; contributing to educating revolutionary traditions and patriotism for cadres, people, especially the young generation in today's innovation cause.

Currently, the Duc Thanh relic site still preserves many original artifacts such as: a set of painted sofas, a set of wooden boards, a desk, a standing cabinet, a document box, an inkstone... These are sacred relics associated with the time and history of the years of teaching in Phan Thiet of teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh. In the relic site, there is also a star fruit tree that teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh used to water and take care of, which is now called the Duc Thanh Star Fruit Tree or Uncle Ho Star Fruit Tree by the locals...

Not only becoming a "red address" for agencies, units, cadres, party members and people to participate in political activities, ideological education, and awareness of the young generation to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, but Duc Thanh relic site has also become an indispensable tourist destination for visitors to Binh Thuan. From the beginning of 2023 to now, Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan branch has welcomed more than 69,000 visitors to visit, research and study, including about 150 international visitors.
