The project of digitizing information on village cultural houses and residential groups is part of the 2023 summer youth volunteer campaign of Thach Ha District Youth Union. Starting from the end of April 2023, youth union members throughout the district conducted surveys, collected information, compiled, and digitized images and data. On May 26, the District Youth Union inaugurated and installed signs at village cultural houses, and promoted propaganda on the mass media system, social networks, and the district's electronic information portal about the implementation of the project.
The information is edited, designed clearly, detailed, easy to understand, and integrated into the QR Code. Thereby, residents and visitors can easily learn about each village and residential group according to the number of households, demographics, and occupations of the people. In addition, digitizing basic information also helps promote the achievements of the village as well as development projects, unique architectural works, and social activities to create recognition.

In particular, in addition to general information about each village and residential group, the organizational structure and staff in the village are also digitized and transmitted via QR codes. This creates transparency, increases responsibility and participation of residents in community management and development. Associations and unions in the village can also effectively promote information about their activities through QR codes. Integrating QR codes in villages and residential groups also helps people learn and refer to more information, more quickly.
Secretary of the Trung Tien village Party cell (Viet Tien commune) Vo Thi Minh Chuoc said: “In recent days, the youth union members in the commune have actively instructed village officials and people on how to scan QR codes. With easy and quick operations, we have been able to access information about the place where we live. Currently, village officials are actively propagating to people about the digitalization project, helping people search more conveniently.”

Currently, the youth union members are continuing to survey, collect information, compile, and digitize images and data in the remaining 102 villages and residential groups. We strive to cover 100% of villages and residential groups in the district by July 2023. In addition, we will research and learn to come up with new designs to help the information page introducing villages and residential groups become more vivid and rich”.
