(Dan Tri) - Chieng Khoa Waterfall in Chieng Khoa Commune, Van Ho District is one of the ideal destinations for tourists when visiting Moc Chau National Tourist Area (Son La).
Chieng Khoa waterfall is also called by the locals as the 7-storey waterfall because it has 7 different levels. Each level is from 5 to 7m high. At the foot of each level, there are large spaces that form clear water reservoirs. The waterfall is like a moving silk strip, standing out among the majestic, wild but poetic mountains and forests of the Northwest highlands. The clear emerald green lake offers visitors a relaxing space. Visitors can also choose a bamboo raft to feel the lightness and floating on the water.
In addition, visitors can also rent a sup boat for 30,000 VND to experience rowing and taking photos from above. In the picture, visitors take photos at the second waterfall level of Chieng Khoa waterfall. Along with capturing beautiful images, visitors can soak in the cool water and breathe in the fresh air of the mountains and forests. Here, the operator has provided free swimming buoys for visitors. According to local tour guides, Chieng Khoa waterfall is most beautiful from March to September every year. After September, it often rains a lot, so the water at the waterfall becomes cloudy. Moc Chau Farm Town Center is 30km from Chieng Khoa Waterfall. If staying in the center, visitors can travel to the waterfall by car or motorbike, about 30-40 minutes.
The entrance fee to the waterfall is 30,000 VND, including the rafting fee. Visitors can ride a motorbike down to the foot of the waterfall. For those who drive, if they do not want to walk down to the waterfall, they can take a motorbike taxi for 20,000 VND/trip.
Here, after visiting and admiring the waterfall, visitors can rest and enjoy Northwestern cuisine at the surrounding camps.
