Born into a family with a rich revolutionary tradition, with both my father and grandfather being veteran revolutionaries, in 1943, although I was only 14 years old, I was trusted by the Viet Minh and assigned important tasks: Guarding secret meetings of Viet Minh cadres; transferring revolutionary documents to bases in the district...
In August 1945, the atmosphere of preparing for an uprising in Ninh Hoa was boiling in all villages and hamlets. On the morning of August 20, receiving the order to rise up and seize power, the Viet Minh in Thanh Khe Ha, Ngo Khe Ha, and Ang Ngu villages promptly mobilized and gathered hundreds of people, with the support of armed self-defense teams in the commune, to coordinate with the people of neighboring communes to join the people in the province to seize power in Gia Khanh district and Ninh Binh province.
A few days later, the Provisional Revolutionary Committee of Ninh Hoa commune was established. On September 2, 1945, the commune organized a large rally, gathering a large number of forces. People followed each other to Ninh Binh town to participate in the rally, celebrating the historic change of life. That day, I was also present in the long-haired army to attend the rally. It was a special day with a large number of revolutionary troops from districts and communes pouring in, the red flag with yellow star filled the town, the propaganda and agitation work was unprecedentedly enthusiastic. The streets were filled with flags and flowers, people were joyful and excited, because everyone understood that from now on, the people had escaped the miserable slavery, the government was in the hands of the people, the people had a free and independent life. That was truly a great happiness. The country became increasingly rich and powerful, the people enjoyed a more prosperous and happy life, and September 2 every year was the Independence Day of the Vietnamese people. For me, the first Independence Day will forever be a sacred, unforgettable memory.
Hoa Lu youth vow to promote revolutionary tradition, build the homeland more and more prosperous
September 2nd - National Day of our country, is the day when we together look back to the heroic history of our nation, remembering the merits of generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. For Hoa Lu youth, National Day is not only a holiday, but also a day for us to affirm our will and determination to build our homeland. We are always proud of the heroic historical tradition of our homeland Hoa Lu, the place that has produced national heroes and talented people.
It is this tradition that has urged us young people to constantly strive, study and practice to be worthy of the responsibility of being the future owners of the country. Over the past years, as the leader of the Hoa Lu District Youth Union, I, together with the Youth Union cadres at all levels in the district, have directed the implementation of the tasks of the Youth Union and the youth movement enthusiastically, practically and effectively.
Hoa Lu Youth Union has had many practical activities, actively participating in volunteer activities, helping people in difficult circumstances, protecting the environment, building new rural areas... Typical in the first 6 months of 2024 such as: Construction of the Youth Tree Line project in Truong Yen commune; environmental sanitation activities "Green Sunday" in Youth Month, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign; giving more than 100 gifts to youth volunteers, students in difficult circumstances, young workers in difficult circumstances...
Looking to the future, we, the youth of Hoa Lu, vow to continue to inherit and promote the glorious revolutionary tradition of our nation, constantly studying and training to become useful citizens for society. We will always be united, creative, and dynamic to contribute to building our homeland Hoa Lu to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
National pride promotes determination to build a developed homeland and country.
Although I did not directly witness the historic moment of the first National Day of September 2nd, through documentary films and articles, I still clearly felt the sacred, heroic atmosphere and the overwhelming joy of our people. Every September 2nd holiday, my heart is filled with emotion and pride. I remember the heroic history of the nation, the sacrifices of many generations of ancestors. It is these things that have become the fire that lights up my will and determination, urging me to strive constantly.
As the Head of the Maintenance Department, directly responsible for maintenance, repair when there are incidents on the Company's 2 rolling lines, I always uphold the sense of responsibility and set an example in managing and operating the team's activities. In particular, I actively respond to occupational safety and hygiene and the movement "Good workers, creative workers", constantly researching, learning, and coming up with topics, ideas, and initiatives to apply in practice, bringing many benefits to the business.
In particular, my initiative "Manufacture of specialized vehicles to reduce time and manpower, increase safety when removing transmission shafts and checking vertical rolling mill transmission shaft gear couplings" has helped the Company benefit over 600 million VND/year and was selected to be applied to all factories of Kyoei Steel Corporation Japan worldwide since December 2019.
With those efforts, over the years, I have always been evaluated and classified as having excellently completed assigned tasks and received many awards from all levels and sectors; in particular, in 2023, I was honored to be one of the outstanding workers to receive the 4th Nguyen Duc Canh Award from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Every day when I come to the company and witness the production lines constantly operating, I feel that I am contributing a small part to the development of my homeland and country. I tell myself that I will always strive to study, improve my skills, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements; especially continue to research and innovate to come up with technical improvement solutions, contributing to creating high-quality products... to be worthy of the sacrifices of our ancestors and the attention that the Party and State have given.
