Techcombank has been awarded this title for three consecutive years.

Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) has just been honored as "Best Digital Bank in Vietnam" at The Asset Triple A Digital Awards 2025 - marking the third consecutive year it has been awarded this title.

Along with that, Techcombank Mobile digital banking application also became "Best Banking Application in Vietnam", affirming its leading position in the digital transformation journey.

The Asset Triple A Digital Awards is a prestigious award presented by The Asset - Asia's leading financial magazine. With over 20 years of experience in evaluating and ranking financial institutions through a rigorous appraisal process, the magazine has always been trusted by experts and senior leaders around the world.

This year's awards honor financial institutions with outstanding achievements in innovation, pioneering in bringing practical digital experiences to customers in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.

The "Best Digital Bank in Vietnam" award given to Techcombank is a recognition of the bank's breakthrough initiatives in applying data and artificial intelligence (AI) to business operations, affirming the superiority of its digital banking platform and its ability to deploy digital products based on technology, bringing optimal personalized experiences to customers.

Meanwhile, the "Best Banking Application in Vietnam" award recognized Techcombank Mobile for its stability, security and ability to meet diverse financial needs of customers.

Attract 1.9 million new customers by 2024

Techcombank closed 2024 with approximately 15.4 million customers, attracting more than 1.9 million new customers during the year. Of these, 55.1% joined through digital platforms and 43.6% from branch channels.

Techcombank also has one of the most digitally savvy customer bases of any bank in the world, with approximately 94% of retail customer transactions conducted online, and its digital banking platform recording more than 50 logins per customer per month.

A powerful digital banking platform helps Techcombank continuously introduce market-leading digital financial products. Automatic Profit 2.0 - a breakthrough product on the Techcombank Mobile digital banking application, allows individual customers to automatically optimize interest rates on their balances, so that their accounts 'add value every day'.

By the end of 2024, nearly 3 million customers had used Auto Profit, helping Techcombank's current account balance (CASA) reach a record high. This figure helped the bank maintain a CASA ratio of 40.5% - the highest in the system, providing cheap capital to increase competitive advantage.

The Asset also highly appreciates Techcombank Rewards - the largest loyalty program in the banking industry in Vietnam at present. Customers can easily accumulate and redeem reward points right on the Techcombank Mobile application at more than 420 partner brands and more than 16,000 payment acceptance units nationwide.

By the end of Q4 2024, Techcombank Rewards had recorded more than 10 million users, with more than 720 million reward redemption transactions made, demonstrating strong demand and support from the market as well as the bank's superior technological response capacity.

The Asset also recognized the hyper-personalized experiences that Techcombank deployed through its data and AI platform. In 2024, the bank used its smart marketing platform to send more than 680 million personalized messages, ranging from financial management advice to suitable product recommendations, helping customers access information to the right people, at the right time.

Thanks to its comprehensive digital capabilities, Techcombank has integrated a wide range of financial services into a single ecosystem, helping customers perform all operations, from savings, investment, insurance to smart financial management right on the same digital banking application Techcombank Mobile.

Techcom Securities is a clear example, showing that customers have optimized all experiences of linking accounts, depositing/withdrawing money, as well as receiving effective investment advice in just one banking app.

2024 also marks the completion of Techcombank's transfer of its entire digital banking platform for individual and corporate customers to the cloud, improving the scalability and stability of the system.

This move helps the bank be more ready for increasingly large transaction volumes and high transaction frequencies, ensuring a smooth and seamless transaction experience for customers.
