Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province received the delegation.
Visiting and presenting gifts in Duong Minh Chau district, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the working delegation listened to a report on the implementation of social security work in the area.
According to the People's Committee of Duong Minh Chau district, the whole district has 550 policy beneficiaries, including 2 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; more than 4,100 social protection beneficiaries. In 2023, the number of poor and near-poor households in the district will be 247, accounting for 0.74% of the total number of households. In recent years, social security work in the district has always received special attention from Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels to lead, direct, and organize implementation to ensure timely, complete, correct policies, and correct beneficiaries in the spirit of "leaving no one behind".
Here, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented a symbolic 200 million VND to the Tay Ninh Provincial Children's Fund; presented 70 gifts to policy families, poor households, households in difficult circumstances and children in difficult circumstances in Duong Minh Chau district.

Visiting the special national cultural relic site of the Southern Central Bureau Base, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan expressed her emotion when the delegation visited Tay Ninh, a place that made many important contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification during the historic April days.
At the Memorial House of the Special National Relic Site of the Southern Central Bureau Base, the Acting President and the delegation offered incense, flowers and observed a minute of silence to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs. Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and the souls of the martyrs, the delegation vowed to unite as one, constantly cultivate, strive to study and practice according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, overcome all difficulties to excellently complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous Vietnam.

Visiting officers and soldiers of Xa Mat International Border Gate Border Post, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan congratulated and acknowledged the achievements of Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard in general and officers and soldiers of Xa Mat International Border Gate Border Post in particular in the past time; at the same time, emphasizing that with a strategic location, bordering the Kingdom of Cambodia with a length of 240km, in the past time, the force has always strived, overcome all difficulties, excellently completed assigned tasks, contributing to stabilizing political security, social order and safety in the inland and on the border, building a peaceful, stable, cooperative and increasingly developing border.
Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Hoi and war invalid Dinh Van Lam (Thanh Tay commune, Tan Bien district). Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan kindly inquired about their health and life and expressed her deep gratitude for the great sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids and sick soldiers in the cause of national liberation, national reunification and for the noble international duty.

At the working session with Tay Ninh province, Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said: Tay Ninh is a land of important position in both socio-economic development and national defense and security, this is the western gateway of the Southeast region, not only connecting Vietnam with Cambodia but also connecting with ASEAN countries. During the resistance war, Tay Ninh people sheltered and supported cadres and soldiers; endured sacrifices and hardships, helping the Party Central Committee and the State lead the revolution to the day of total victory. After the restoration of peace, generations of cadres, soldiers and people of Tay Ninh continued to promote the revolutionary tradition, strived to rise up, overcome the sacrifices and losses of the resistance war period, overcome difficulties and challenges and achieved many important achievements in socio-economy, improving material and spiritual life, maintaining national defense and security.
Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also acknowledged Tay Ninh’s breakthrough in attracting investment, developing tourism and industry, and gradually transforming the local economy. The province has also devoted adequate attention and resources to social security work in general and to showing gratitude and caring for the lives of people with meritorious services and families with preferential policies. Notably, Tay Ninh is one of the 10 provinces with the lowest poverty rate in the country.

“Tay Ninh needs to pay attention to performing well both socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, creating a foundation for the next development stage. Regarding the economic sector, Tay Ninh needs to continue promoting the province's potentials and advantages such as industry, tourism, high-tech agriculture, urbanization; closely coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces in the Southeast region to create production chains, develop infrastructure, and attract investment. At the same time, Tay Ninh closely follows the general economic transformation trend of Vietnam, which is green economy, digital economy, renewable energy right now; focusing on investing in transport infrastructure, digital infrastructure to carry out the transformation process and keep up with the development trend", Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized.
