Passenger train SE7 running through Ha Tinh suddenly derailed. Dozens of people are working to fix the problem and reopen the line soon.
On the afternoon of November 13, Nghe Tinh Railway Company said that passenger train SE7 from the North to the South running through Ha Tinh suddenly derailed two axles of car number 8. The incident caused the North-South railway line to be blocked.
Specifically, passenger train SE7 departed from Hanoi station to Ho Chi Minh City. At around 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, when it reached the Thanh Luyen - Chu Le section (Huong Khe district, Ha Tinh), it experienced a derailment.
The incident did not cause any casualties but caused a traffic jam on the railway. Passengers on train SE7 were transferred by car to Chu Le station, 2km away, to continue their journey.
More than 50 people are at the scene to fix the problem. The North-South railway is expected to reopen tonight.
It is known that every day on the North-South railway line there are 24 passenger trains, including 16 Thong Nhat trains and 8 short-distance trains.
