Thua Thien - Hue Train SE1 carrying 355 passengers derailed near the intersection of Dien Bien Phu Street, right in the center of Hue City, at noon on May 4.
At around 11am, train SE1 was travelling from North to South, when it had just left Hue station, carriages 6 and 7 with sleeper beds derailed, tilting about 30 degrees. The incident did not cause any casualties. Passengers were instructed to move back to wait at Hue station.
