THE NATION. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has called on relevant agencies to streamline procedures so that Thailand can achieve its target of welcoming 25 million international tourists this year.
ADP. In the first 6 months of this year, Cambodian authorities arrested 9,034 drug-related suspects , including 167 foreigners.
REUTERS. China is sending a military hospital ship to the Pacific, with port calls in Kiribati, Tonga, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste, in a bid to expand its influence in the region.
Xinhua News Agency. Speaking at the opening of the trilateral meeting in the port city of Qingdao, Wang Yi, director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, called for enhanced communication and exchanges with Japan and South Korea to create momentum for the trilateral summit and other high-level meetings.

AL ARABIYA. Egypt and Iran will resume direct flights between Tehran and Cairo within the next 45 days, after the two sides held talks to resume tourism.
THE STAR. Kenyan President William Ruto has announced the lifting of a nearly six-year ban on logging in a bid to create jobs and boost economic sectors that rely on forest products.
