BTO-In order to drastically implement the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Provincial People's Committee on a general inspection and review of "3 no" fishing vessels (not registered, inspected, and not granted a fishing license) to manage and control fishing vessels operating in accordance with legal regulations; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has given direction on a number of contents.
Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Border Guard Command, relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of coastal districts, towns and cities to develop and issue a plan to organize and complete the inventory of all fishing vessels of 6 meters or more that have not been registered at the commune and village levels; focus resources (assignment, arrangement of forces; division by team, by area) to carry out the registration and temporary registration of "3 no" fishing vessels in operation for monitoring and management before the Circular amending and supplementing Circular No. 23/2018/TT-BNNPTNT dated November 15, 2018 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development takes effect. The required completion time is before March 15, 2024.
This is a very important content that Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development have requested localities to complete to report to serve the 5th inspection of the European Commission (EC) Inspection Team scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2024. Therefore, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Provincial Border Guard Command and the People's Committees of coastal districts, towns and cities must arrange forces and focus on directing strongly to complete on time as required above.
