Focus on supporting the construction unit so that the 500kV Line 3 circuit can be completed on schedule.

On the afternoon of July 24, comrade Le Hong Vinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a working session between the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Electricity Group on issues related to logistics and support for the construction of the 500 kV Line 3 project through Nghe An. Attending the meeting was comrade Pham Hong Phuong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group.

The 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi in Hung Yen province has a total length of about 519 km, passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces. Nghe An is currently implementing 2 projects, including: Quang Trach - Quynh Luu 500kV line project with 168 pole foundation locations and Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa 500kV line project with 34 pole foundation locations.

In Nghe An province, 156/202 pole positions have been erected and the wire pulling is entering the final stage.

At the meeting, Vietnam Electricity Group proposed to the People's Committee of Nghe An province to continue directing departments, branches and localities to better coordinate with investors and construction units to resolve problems arising during the construction process.

With the requirement to ensure progress according to the direction of the Prime Minister, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested relevant departments, branches and localities to be resolute in urging and opening temporary service roads, creating a safe corridor for units to construct the 500kV Line. Particularly, localities where the project passes through need to coordinate with functional forces, organize to ensure security and order, resolve cases of intentional obstruction, and ensure the set progress.

For better coordination, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh also requested Vietnam Electricity Group and the National Power Transmission Corporation to proactively compile and review specific tasks. Especially at the present time, Nghe An province requests construction units to prepare plans to respond to extreme weather, ensuring safety for people, works, machinery and equipment at the construction site. More importantly, the investor and contractors must fulfill their commitment to restore the land and residential roads along the entire route after completing the project./.
