Training on drug prevention and control propaganda for reporters

(2) Some legal documents related to drug prevention and control work; some issues to note in drug prevention and control propaganda work in the coming time and some skills in propaganda work.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Thanh Luan, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, said: These are basic and practical contents, helping students grasp the drug crime situation in the country, in the province and in the world; the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, local regulations on drug prevention and control, HIV/AIDS prevention and control...

Therefore, the Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications requested that delegates attending the conference uphold their sense of responsibility, frankly discuss unclear issues, limitations and shortcomings in practical activities... together with the reporter to clarify issues of common concern.

The training course has partly helped reporters, editors of press agencies, media agencies, and propaganda officers of departments, branches, and sectors of provinces, districts, towns, cities, communes, wards, and townships to have more positive information about drugs and the harmful effects of drug abuse in order to have more effective propaganda methods, meeting the requirements of information and propaganda in the new situation.
