T&T Group awarded over 1 billion VND for Vietnam's table tennis miracle at SEA Games 32

On the afternoon of May 19, T&T Group honored and awarded 1.15 billion VND for the outstanding achievements of Vietnamese table tennis athletes and coaches at the 32nd SEA Games.

Businessman Do Quang Hien presented awards to Mai Ngoc and Anh Hoang, the two athletes who won the Gold Medal in the mixed doubles table tennis event at the 32nd SEA Games.

Tran Mai Ngoc and Dinh Anh Hoang, two athletes of the Hanoi T&T table tennis club, caused an "earthquake" in the table tennis event of the 32nd SEA Games when they defeated the powerhouse Singapore 3-1 in the mixed doubles final on May 14 to win the historic Gold Medal in this event.

After 26 years, Vietnamese table tennis has finally won a Gold Medal in the mixed doubles event. Previously at the 1997 SEA Games, Vietnamese table tennis legend Vu Manh Cuong and his teammate Ngo Thu Thuy brought home a Gold Medal in this event.

In addition to the Gold Medal in the mixed doubles, Anh Hoang and Mai Ngoc also won another medal, the Bronze Medal in the men's team event and the Bronze Medal in the women's team event.

At the 32nd SEA Games, another athlete from the Hanoi T&T Table Tennis Club, Le Dinh Duc, also won a Bronze Medal in the men's team event, contributing to the overall success of the Vietnamese sports delegation.

In light of these historic achievements, on May 19, T&T Group held a ceremony to honor athletes of Hanoi T&T Table Tennis Club who achieved excellent results at the 32nd SEA Games, to promptly encourage, motivate and recognize the efforts and contributions of athletes Mai Ngoc, Anh Hoang and Dinh Duc to Vietnamese table tennis in particular and Vietnamese sports in general.

Mai Ngoc and Anh Hoang each received a bonus of 250 million VND, while Dinh Duc received 50 million VND. Coach Vu Manh Cuong received a bonus of 200 million VND, and the remaining members of the coaching staff of Hanoi T&T Table Tennis Club received a bonus of 200 million VND.

In addition, T&T Group also awarded 100 million VND to head coach Le Huy of the Vietnamese table tennis team and another 100 million VND to the team's coaching staff.

The total bonus that T&T Group gave for Vietnam's table tennis miracle at SEA Games 32 is 1.15 billion VND.

Through this, I also want to express my gratitude to the parents of the athletes who let their children pursue a sports career at a very young age so that Vietnamese table tennis can achieve today's achievements."

Businessman Do Quang Hien also advised athletes not to be satisfied, not to have star disease and to strive to go to the continent. The founder of T&T Group said he is ready to invest in athletes to train abroad and improve their performance.

Mr. Do Quang Hien revealed that there will be more rewards for Mai Ngoc and Anh Hoang from other businessmen and enterprises, and he also plans to soon organize a ceremony to honor them with the full presence of parents of the players of the Hanoi T&T Table Tennis Club who achieved excellent results at the 32nd SEA Games.
