On November 19, information from the Long An Provincial People's Committee said that within the framework of the Trade and Investment Promotion Program in Europe (France, Belgium and Germany) at the invitation of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, the Long An Provincial Delegation led by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Duoc witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation between QuickPack Group (Germany) and Dong Tam Group.
QuickPack was founded in 1966 in Stuttgart-Feuerbach (Germany), is a company specializing in household goods and hygiene products, developing and manufacturing for many international trading companies and leading retail chains with products such as aluminum foil, fresh-keeping film, freezer bags, bags for household, food, medical purposes and baking paper of all kinds for household, food and medical purposes.
Since 2017, QuickPack has invested in a factory in Thuan Dao Industrial Park (Ben Luc, Long An) invested by Dong Tam Group.
After 7 years of development, this enterprise has expanded the project to 10 hectares in the Industrial Park. The revenue of QuickPack factories in Germany, Poland and Vietnam in 2024 will reach 500 million euros.
The signing ceremony took place at the roundtable workshop on trade and investment between Long An province and Cologne city held in Cologne, Germany.
According to this memorandum of understanding, QuickPack will lease 60,000 square meters of land in the Southeast Asia Industrial Park under the Long An international port cluster project to build a factory with a total investment of about 30 million euros.
The factory is expected to start construction in 2025 and will be invested with the most modern equipment in the world to produce high-end products, 100% exported to the European, North American and Australian markets.
