On the morning of October 14, within the framework of the National Final Award Ceremony of the Competition "Women starting a business, promoting local resources" in 2023 and the Launch of the Competition "Women starting a business" in 2024, under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of ministries and branches, BRG Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on connecting trade and promoting product consumption with DBFood Joint Stock Company, the special prize winner of this year's competition.

Within the framework of the signed MoU, BRG Group will support the promotion and distribution of products of DBFood Company, the unit that won the Special Prize with the project of Applying high technology to the production and development of organic brown rice milk (Vinh Phuc province) at the supermarket system of BRG Group.
In the 2023 “Women Entrepreneurship” competition, in addition to signing the MoU with DBFood, BRG Group has pioneered in accompanying the Vietnam Women's Union in finding product outlets for the winning products, in which, qualified products will be immediately distributed at BRG Group's supermarket chain system including BRGMart and FujiMart.
This memorandum of understanding is the next effort of Madame Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairwoman of BRG Group and also a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union for many terms, in supporting women entrepreneurs in finding outlets for their products, helping to bring local agricultural products to consumers.
Under the close attention and guidance of Madame Nga, not only DBFood products, BRG Group's supermarket system is ready to welcome other products in the "Women Entrepreneurship" contest that meet the standards. Over the years, many local agricultural products such as longan, lychee, watermelon, orange, grapefruit, dragon fruit... have been distributed and sold at BRG Group's supermarkets and received positive feedback from consumers.

Previously, accompanying women-owned businesses, Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) - "The most innovative bank for Vietnamese women in 2022" - has deployed a credit package worth VND 500 billion to support the Women's Entrepreneurship Project for the period 2018-2025 of the Vietnam Women's Union with many preferential products exclusively for members of the Union and women-owned businesses nationwide.
In addition, in July 2022, BRG Group signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE) in the field of retail distribution to support output, input, information promotion, and product images of VAWE member businesses at BRG Group's supermarket system.
The Women's Startup Competition with the theme "Women starting a business, promoting local resources" in 2023 is the 5th competition organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union within the framework of the Project "Supporting women to start a business in the period 2017 - 2025" approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 939/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2017 (Project 939).
The objective of the competition is to search, select, award and support incubation, capacity building for women and organizations owned or managed by women with outstanding startup projects or ideas to preserve, develop and enhance the value of local resources, exploit comparative advantages in terms of ecological conditions, culture, genetic resources, knowledge and technology of the locality on the basis of promoting internal strength, entrepreneurial spirit of women, contributing to the implementation of the Government's National Startup Program and the National Strategy on Gender Equality.
After many rigorous selection rounds, from 273 startup projects from all over the country, this year's competition honored 33 outstanding projects representing 3 regions of the country.
