American architecture magazine names Hoi An street among the most beautiful in the world

Tran Phu Street in Hoi An is among the 71 most beautiful streets in the world, according to the American architecture magazine Architectural Digest.
From the streets, the backpacking roads to the enchanting train journey, the travel journey will become interesting with the experience of local culture, learning about history, admiring the architecture, natural landscapes, people... To inspire tourists to explore, Architectural Digest magazine has just announced the 71 most beautiful roads in the world. Among them, Hoi An ranked 45th. Once a bustling trading port from the 15th to the 19th century, Hoi An attracts a large number of visitors. What tourists look for is the lantern festival on the full moon day of every lunar month on Tran Phu Street.

Tran Phu Street is about 1km long and 5m wide, connecting Hoang Dieu and the famous Hoi An Bridge. During the French colonial period, Tran Phu Street was named Rue du Pont Japonais, meaning Japanese Bridge Street. In the past, this was the main street of Hoi An, with ancient houses. On this street, there are many relics such as the Guangdong Assembly Hall, Quan Cong Temple, Hai Nam Assembly Hall, Ngu Bang Assembly Hall... all located on even-numbered streets.

"Dominating" the top of the list of 71 most beautiful streets are the old town of Colmar in France, Brunngasse in Brienz, Switzerland; Setenil de las Bodegas in Spain; Águeda in Portugal; the intersection of Washington and Water streets (in Brooklyn, New York, USA)... Some prominent representatives from Asia include a street in Chengdu (China); a path in the Sagano bamboo forest in Kyoto (Japan); an old town in Lijiang, Yunnan province (China); Koon Seng street in Singapore, Romanee street in Phuket (Thailand)...
