“We are deeply saddened by this incident. In the spirit of “mutual love”, we wish to contribute a small part of our strength to share the pain of the victims,” Journalist Ho Minh Chien expressed.

Previously, at around 11:50 p.m. on September 12, in Khuong Dinh ward (Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi ), a fire broke out in a high-rise building with an area of ​​about 200 square meters, causing particularly serious consequences when authorities determined that 56 people died and 37 people were injured.

The Hanoi City Police Department of Investigation then issued a decision to prosecute the case and an arrest warrant to temporarily detain Nghiem Quang Minh (born in 1979; currently residing in Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi, owner of the apartment building where the fire occurred) for 4 months for the crime of Violating fire prevention and fighting regulations.

In recent days, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and many organizations have launched a campaign to raise funds and support the victims so that they can soon stabilize their lives after the fire.
