In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today, July 9, 2024, remained stable on the market, fluctuating between 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the lowest price in the region of 67,000 VND/kg was recorded in Lao Cai.
Higher in price is the area of provinces Bac Giang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi and Tuyen Quang, with price of 68,000 VND/kg.
On the contrary, the highest price in the region of 69,000 VND/kg was recorded in Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Ninh Binh.
Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region
In this area, the price of live pigs today increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg within a narrow range and fluctuated between 62,000 - 68,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, after increasing the price, traders in Lam Dong purchased live pigs at 67,000 VND/kg, equal to that in Ha Tinh.
The lowest price in the region of 62,000 VND/kg was recorded in Khanh Hoa, Quang Tri, and Quang Nam provinces.

On the other hand, the highest price in the region of 68,000 VND/kg was recorded in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An.
The remaining localities recorded live pig prices of 63,000 - 66,000 VND/kg.
Pig price in the South today 7/9/2024
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs decreased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND within a narrow range and fluctuated between 63,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, the highest price in the region of 67,000 VND/kg was recorded in Binh Duong and Vung Tau provinces.

After reducing the price, traders in Long An and Tien Giang are buying live pigs at 66,000 VND/kg, equal to those in Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City; Tay Ninh, An Giang, Dong Thap, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, and Ca Mau.
With the same price reduction, traders in Vinh Long and Bac Lieu are purchasing live pigs at 64,000 VND/kg, equal to the price in Tra Vinh after two price reductions.
In Ben Tre, traders are buying live pigs at 63,000 VND/kg. This is the lowest price in the region.

The remaining localities recorded a pig price of 65,000 VND/kg.
In general, the price of live pigs has increased and decreased inconsistently from 1,000 VND/kg to 2,000 VND/kg. Currently, the surveyed price in the provinces fluctuates between 62,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.
