This plan aims to overcome limitations and shortcomings, eliminate opportunities and conditions for corruption to arise; create a clear change in awareness and sense of responsibility of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Supreme People's Court, especially the team of leaders and party members in the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

According to the plan, heads of units under the Supreme People's Court must be exemplary, resolute, and directly lead and direct the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity; proactively prevent, detect, and handle cases with signs of corruption; lead and direct the timely and strict handling of cases related to corruption in accordance with the law; and must truly consider the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity as a regular and important task to focus on leading and directing.
"Strictly handle the responsibility of the head if corruption occurs in the agency or unit under his/her management or charge according to the provisions of law," the plan clearly states.
The Supreme People's Court also requested to continue to improve the mechanism for preventing corruption and negativity, especially in areas prone to corruption; to review, amend and eliminate regulations that are not suitable to requirements, and regulations that are not strict enough, which can easily cause loopholes for exploitation, corruption, and waste of money, assets and working time.
At the same time, strengthen the application of information technology, digital transformation, reform of judicial administrative procedures; continue to effectively operate the court management system, virtual assistant, and the People's Court monitoring and management system to serve court activities.
The Supreme People's Court noted the implementation of the code of conduct for people with positions and powers in agencies and units; effectively preventing and handling petty corruption; and implementing regulations on gift giving and returning gifts.
Along with that, it is necessary to promote self-inspection and supervision in agencies and units; focus on leadership and direction to promptly detect and promptly and strictly handle complaints, denunciations and reflections with signs of corruption; announce and publicize the conclusions of inspections, examinations, and settlement of complaints and denunciations on corruption, and improve the effectiveness of recovering corrupt assets...
Also related to anti-corruption work, the Supreme People's Court also issued a Plan to verify assets and income in 2024. According to this plan, the Supreme People's Court will verify assets and income of 60 individuals.
Those on the verification list belong to the following units: Hanoi High People's Court, Hai Phong City Second-level People's Court, Thua Thien - Hue Province Second-level People's Court, Tien Giang Province Second-level People's Court, Long An Province Second-level People's Court.
At each of the above agencies, the competent authority will select at least 10% of the people who are required to declare their assets and income annually for verification. The selection will be carried out by random drawing.
The Supreme People's Court said that verifying assets and income will help review and evaluate the accuracy and conclude on the honesty of asset and income declarations; at the same time, control fluctuations in assets and income of those who are obliged to declare.
Verification results also contribute to preventing, detecting, and handling corruption (if any) and building a clean, honest, and strong team of officials and civil servants.
