The youngest associate professor of Mathematics this year is from Hanoi. He studied at the number 1 pedagogical university in the country, graduated with a master's and doctorate in France, and has had 19 scientific articles published in prestigious international journals.
This year, the Mathematics Department has 4 new professors and 18 new associate professors. The youngest associate professor is Can Van Hao.
Mr. Hao was born in 1989, from Huong Ngai commune, Thach That district, Hanoi. Currently, Mr. Hao is a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
Previously, in 2011, Mr. Can Van Hao graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics Education, majoring in Mathematics at Hanoi National University of Education. Three years later, he graduated with a master's degree in Applied Mathematics at Aix-Marseille University (France). Mr. Hao was also awarded a doctorate in Mathematics by this university in 2017.
After graduating with a doctorate, Mr. Hao works at the Institute of Mathematics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. In addition, he teaches at a number of academies and universities such as: Academy of Science and Technology, Hanoi National University of Education 2, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The youngest associate professor of Mathematics in 2024 said that his two main research directions are: Stochastic processes and limit theorems; Some models in statistical physics such as the Ising model and the permeation model.
To date, Mr. Hao has completed 3 scientific research topics from the grassroots level and above. In particular, he has published 19 scientific articles in prestigious international journals, with 17 of them as the main author.
This year, the Mathematics Department also recognized two new associate professors, both born in 1987: Dao Tuan Anh and Pham Viet Hung .
Associate Professor Dao Tuan Anh is from Tan Tien Commune, Van Giang District, Hung Yen Province. He graduated from Hanoi National University of Education in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education - High Quality; and graduated with a Master's degree in Mathematics, specializing in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (now Hanoi University of Science and Technology) in 2011. In 2020, Dao Tuan Anh was awarded a PhD in Differential and Integral Equations from Bergakademie Freiberg University of Technology (Germany).
Currently, he is a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Tuan Anh's main research direction is sigma-evolutionary equations with different mechanisms and corresponding weak pair equation systems.
Associate Professor Dao Tuan Anh has completed 2 scientific research topics from the grassroots level and above, published 20 scientific articles, of which 19 were in prestigious international journals and published 1 book.
The new associate professor Pham Viet Hung is from Quang Lich commune, Kien Xuong district, Thai Binh province. Hung graduated from Hanoi National University of Education in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in education, majoring in Mathematics Education; and received a master's degree (2010) and a doctorate (2013) in mathematics, majoring in Applied Mathematics, from Toulouse 3 University (France).
Currently, Mr. Hung works at the Institute of Mathematics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. His research interests are geometry of stochastic processes, stochastic polynomials, and limit theorems.
Mr. Pham Viet Hung has guided 8 graduate students, completed 3 scientific research topics from the grassroots level and above, published 11 scientific articles, including 9 articles in prestigious international journals...
