On March 25, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee To Thi Bich Chau had a working session with the Southern Working Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee on the organization, operation and implementation of a number of key tasks in 2024.
Attending the meeting were all leaders, officers, employees and workers of the Southern Working Committee (Southern Committee).
Staff proficient in many fields
Reporting at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Thien, Head of the Southern Working Committee, said that over the past years, thanks to the leadership of the Party Delegation, Party Committee, Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; the solidarity and consensus among civil servants and workers... the Southern Working Committee has strived to complete all assigned tasks.
According to Mr. Thien, in the last 5 years, each year, the Southern Committee has organized to serve an average of 50-55 working delegations of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to the South. In addition, the Committee has also been assigned to attend about 65-70 meetings, conferences, and activities organized by Central agencies and local Vietnam Fatherland Fronts in the Southern region.
In addition, the Board also serves the elders, comrades, and cadres of the Front of the provinces and cities in the Southern region to attend meetings, congresses, and conferences in Hanoi about 200 times per year; maintains regular contact and does a good job of serving former leaders, agency cadres, and members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front who are residing and working in Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities in the Southern region; regularly reflects the situation of the people of all walks of life in the Southern region in weekly reports, monthly reports, and 3 to 4 thematic reports per year; manages facilities as assigned by the Standing Board...
Based on the above general context, in 2024, the Southern Committee sets the goal of striving for each civil servant to undertake many tasks, be proficient in many areas of work, increase the application of information technology in grasping the situation at the grassroots level and focus on building good working relationships with localities, focusing on overcoming limitations. At the same time, promote the initiative and bravery in leading the Committee and each position in grasping the situation, improving the effectiveness of advisory work for the Standing Committee.
At the meeting, leaders, officers, employees and workers of the Southern Division also proposed and recommended a number of important issues. Specifically: Proposing the Standing Committee to approve the policy of perfecting the leadership of the Southern Division according to the approved Project to ensure work efficiency; soon organize civil servant recruitment exams so that the Southern Division can recruit enough civil servants according to regulations; pay attention to and review reasonable visiting regimes...
Do not back down in the face of difficulty
Speaking at the meeting, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee To Thi Bich Chau highly appreciated the achievements of the Southern Committee in recent times. “That success is especially meaningful in the context of many difficulties in operation, especially difficulties in operating costs, inadequate personnel, and large operating areas. The recognition and high titles awarded to the Committee by the Standing Committee for many consecutive years have also clearly demonstrated that,” Ms. To Thi Bich Chau emphasized.
Vice President To Thi Bich Chau suggested that in the coming time, the Party Committee and Party Cells need to have practical thematic activities that are suitable for the unit. There is a need for solidarity, and for each individual to make efforts, especially in the context that the Front is actively making achievements and preparing for the upcoming Front Congress.
“In difficult conditions, we need to think of other methods; be flexible to suit the situation. Improving skills and responsibility in new work is an important factor, because these issues can be solved by ourselves. If you are passionate and interested in your job, people will listen and follow,” the Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front advised.
According to Vice President To Thi Bich Chau, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee is preparing for the upcoming Front Congress closely linked to the economic and political situation of the world and the world, so it must have a firm grasp of the issue.
