(Dan Tri) - The Urus SUV model is Lamborghini's best-selling car in recent years.
The Italian supercar brand recently announced that its 2024 revenue will reach 3.09 billion euros ($3.4 billion at current exchange rates), breaking the 3 billion mark for the first time. Last year, Lamborghini's sales increased 5.7% to 10,687 vehicles, with the Urus accounting for the majority of sales, although sales of that model fell compared to the previous year.
Lamborghini's revenue rose 16.2% compared to 2023, leading to a 15.5% increase in profit to 835 million euros ($906 million). More than half of Lamborghini's cars sold last year, 5,662, were Urus. The Huracán, meanwhile, accounted for 3,609 units, and the Revuelto for 1,406.
Only 10 Aventadors were delivered to customers last year, as Lamborghini ramped up production of the Revuelto LB744, the hybrid model that replaced the traditional internal combustion engine Aventador.

Lamborghini has recorded record sales after upgrading its entire product portfolio with hybrid engines.
The Italian supercar brand launched the Revuelto with a V12 engine in 2023, followed by the Urus with a hybrid powertrain that will now be sold until 2026. The Temerario, the Huracán's replacement, which uses a twin-turbo V8 engine, was launched last August.
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said the company had recorded record growth in all three major market regions. However, according to Reuters, Winkelmann admitted that new tariffs in the US could threaten Lamborghini's sales this year.
The company is preparing to add a fourth model to its lineup, and it will be its first electric car. It is based on the Lanzador concept, and Winkelmann expects it to sell as well as the Temerario when it hits the market in 2029. If the high-end all-electric model convinces customers, Lamborghini’s sales could soar even higher.
