According to Neowin , the blockbuster action game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League by Rocksteady Studios, the creator of the Arkham series set in the DC universe, has just officially opened early for the Digital Deluxe version in some regions. However, the joy of the gaming community was quickly extinguished when a serious error caused... the game to automatically complete the storyline for gamers.
In response to the serious issue, Rocksteady has immediately taken all online servers offline to deal with it. "We are aware of an issue some players are experiencing - the game automatically completes the entire story upon first login," the studio announced on social media. "To address this issue, we will be performing server maintenance on the game."

Suicide Squad shuts down early access servers due to issues
Suicide Squad is scheduled to officially launch globally on February 2, 2024. The expensive Digital Deluxe version, worth $99.99, allows players to enjoy 72 hours of early access. Due to the time zone difference, New Zealand is the first country to experience the game. Many international gamers also use the "trick" of changing regions to be able to play a few hours early.
According to reports, many players who access the game immediately own high-end weapons, costumes, and missions right from the start. Suicide Squad does not have an offline mode, so all gamers are blocked from accessing the game during maintenance.
Suicide Squad has previously faced controversy from fans due to its use of a battle pass system and in-game transactions despite its price tag of $69.99. The publisher also confirmed that it did not send out review copies to any publications, only allowing critics to play the game on the day of its early access launch. However, the server outage has greatly affected the experience and reviews.

This rare incident once again raises questions about the quality of game testing and the risky early access policy. The gaming community is now eagerly waiting for Rocksteady to fix the bug and reopen the servers.
