The attraction of the world's largest exhibition on renewable energy

According to information from the Vietnam Trade Office in Japan, from February 28 to March 1, 2024, the WSEW 2024 Exhibition will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center, Japan. This is the world's largest exhibition specializing in the field of renewable energy.

In 2024, the WSEW Exhibition will be divided into 7 zones, allowing participating businesses to exhibit at the location that best suits their business needs, while facilitating the attraction of visitors.

Firstly, the FC EXPO (FUEL CELL EXPO) exhibition area is the world's largest exhibition on hydrogen and fuel cells, displaying various technologies, components, materials, and equipment for the research and production of hydrogen and fuel cells.

Second, the PV EXPO exhibition area is Japan's largest exhibition on the solar panel industry. The latest materials, manufacturing technologies and solar module/cell models will be introduced by major domestic and foreign companies.

Third , the BATTERY JAPAN exhibition area is the world's leading international exhibition on rechargeable batteries, displaying various components, materials, and equipment for the research and production of complete rechargeable battery products.

Fourth, the INTERNATIONAL SMART GRID EXPO exhibition area is Japan's largest international exhibition showcasing various advanced technologies and products related to smart grids and smart cities.

Fifth , the WIND EXPO exhibition area is Japan's largest wind power exhibition, displaying a wide range of advanced products and technologies from components, equipment, various services to wind turbines...

Sixth , the INTERNATIONAL BIOMASS EXPO exhibition area is Japan's largest exhibition on biomass power, displaying equipment, technology and services related to biomass power production.

Seventh, the Zero Emission Thermal Power Generation EXPO is Japan's largest exhibition on thermal power generation technologies. Efficient and environmentally friendly thermal power generation methods are attracting much attention from the energy industry. The engineering technologies and components for the construction, maintenance and operation of these thermal power plants will also be exhibited at the exhibition.

Taking place at the same time as the WSEW Exhibition, there is also the Carbon Reduction Exhibition and the Circular Economy Exhibition. This is also an exhibition displaying advanced technologies, services and solutions aimed at reducing carbon and recycling/reusing resources, towards a green - clean - sustainable society and life for people in the future.

At the WSEW Exhibition, the Vietnam Trade Office in Japan discussed and worked with a number of businesses, learned about their technologies and displayed products as well as their aspirations for business cooperation and technology transfer to Vietnam.

At the same time, in the coming time, the Trade Office will continue to contact and work with Japanese enterprises wishing to invest in Vietnam in the field of renewable energy, which is in line with the current development trend in the world in general and in Vietnam in particular, as well as contributing to the process of realizing Vietnam's commitment to carbon reduction, achieving net zero emissions by 2050 as declared at the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 26).

Since its launch in 2005, WSEW has served as the meeting place and the best business cooperation platform for individuals, businesses and organizations operating in the energy industry globally.

The WSEW exhibition is held three times a year, including twice in Tokyo in March and September and once in Osaka in November. The 2023 WSEW exhibition recorded the participation of more than 1,200 companies from Japanese companies and some large foreign companies, attracting about more than 65,196 visitors during the 3-day exhibition.
