On April 23, in Hanoi, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), President Luong Cuong attended and delivered a speech at the International Scientific Conference "50 years of national reunification: The role of diplomacy in peacemaking in history and present". President Luong Cuong emphasized that half a century has passed, but the historical significance and profound lessons from the victory on April 30, 1975 for Vietnamese diplomacy in peacemaking, protecting and building the Fatherland still remain valuable, with profound national and contemporary significance.
