Quickly resolve problems in construction planning management in Quang Nam province

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to systematize problems and difficulties into groups of issues that need to be resolved (construction planning, urban planning, architectural management regulations, urban development programs...) from proposals and recommendations of localities and related units to provide written instructions for localities to implement before April 20, 2024.

The Department of Construction must also urgently carry out the tasks directed by the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 2201 dated April 1, 2024. At the same time, focus on reviewing construction planning and urban planning to ensure that the allocated targets are consistent with the approved Provincial Planning. In particular, clarify the development capacity of each locality and each urban area to evaluate and advise on proposing appropriate development targets in the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

The unit continues to research and complete the urban development mechanism in the province, in which it is necessary to clearly propose each group that needs support mechanisms, with goals and priorities. Coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment, Finance and related sectors and localities to advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and report to the Provincial People's Council for decision for the period 2026 - 2030, to be completed in December 2024.

In April 2024, the Department of Construction advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue the Working Regulations of the Council for Appraisal of Construction Planning Tasks and Projects, Urban Planning under the approval authority of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Department of Construction to review the housing development program and targets for the 2021-2030 period to ensure consistency with the construction planning targets, urban planning, urban development programs of the province and each locality; the allocated targets according to the approved Provincial Planning, promptly advise the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the targets that are not guaranteed.

Every year, focus on reviewing targets and lists, coordinate with relevant sectors and localities to urgently advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue housing development plans according to regulations, first of all, the 2024 housing development plan.
