Playwright To Thien Kieu mourns her husband on his birthday

Artist Le Hung - the husband of composer To Thien Kieu - has left his family and the stage when he passed away at People's Hospital 115 (HCMC) due to a stroke. Composer To Thien Kieu emotionally shared: "He had a stroke, his family took him to People's Hospital 115 for emergency treatment. He was in a deep coma due to a brain hemorrhage."

Over the past few days, fellow artists have come to offer condolences to the family of composer To Thien Kieu. The passing of artist Le Hung has left many colleagues, especially composer To Thien Kieu, in grief.

People's Artist Huu Quoc said that the family of Le Hung and To Thien Kieu is facing many difficulties. Therefore, he called on his colleagues to donate more than 80 million VND to help and support To Thien Kieu's family in this painful situation.

Artist Le Hung

Artist Le Hung (born in 1985), from Dong Thap. He is an actor and a cai luong artist. The artist has been associated with playwright To Thien Kieu for many years. His wife is 12 years older than him.

In 2019, in a program, To Thien Kieu shared that the two met when Le Hung followed a musician to a singing troupe in An Giang - where she was working.

One of the troupe members suddenly fell ill, so Le Hung agreed to act as his replacement. Three years later, when they met again by chance in Ho Chi Minh City, Le Hung took the initiative to pursue playwright To Thien Kieu.

When the two decided to live together, both families objected because of the age gap between her and him, however, they overcame the difficulties to live together, supporting each other to stick with the stage.
