According to the Inspectorate of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, this unit has just issued a decision to fine and suspend the operation of the Skin Care Facility of VSPACE Company Limited (address at 154/8 Nguyen Phuc Chu, Ward 15, Tan Binh District) due to violations such as: Providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license. Advertising medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license or medical examination and treatment practice certificate.
For the above violations, VSPACE Company Limited was fined 160 million VND. In addition to the fine, this facility was also suspended from operating when it had full legal documents for medical examination and treatment activities and was forced to remove, dismantle, and delete advertisements when it did not have a license to operate medical examination and treatment.
Also at this skin care facility, the authorities also fined Ms. Tran Thi Vien (skin care worker at VSPACE Company Limited) VND 50 million for violating the law on practicing medicine without a medical practice certificate. In addition to the fine, Ms. Tran Thi Vien was also forced to pay back VND 15 million for her violation.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health inspectors coordinated with other forces to inspect an "underground" cosmetic facility.
Also during this period, the Health Department Inspectorate fined Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoang - a cosmetic surgeon, owner of Hoang An cosmetic clinic (address 759 Le Hong Phong, Ward 12, District 10) VND 22.5 million for advertising special products and services without having the content confirmed by a competent state agency before advertising according to regulations. At the same time, the owner of this business was forced to remove the illegal advertisements.
In particular, the Health Department Inspectorate fined Mr. Truong Thanh Tinh (also known as "Doctor Mr. Lee", address 15 Nguyen Quy Canh, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City) 30 million VND for violations in the medical field due to the use of drugs, substances, and devices that interfere with the human body, changing skin color, shape, weight, and defects of body parts; tattooing, spraying, and embroidering using injectable anesthetics for facilities other than hospitals with cosmetic specialties, cosmetic clinics, or medical facilities with cosmetic specialty activities.
Previously, on October 3, "Mr. Lee" was also fined more than VND 115 million by the Department of Health Inspectorate for administrative violations for the following acts: Providing medical examination and treatment without a medical practice certificate; Providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license; Advertising medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license.
"Doctor Mr Lee's" facility was also suspended from operations until it received an operating license.
